Peter Nicanor Abarcar Sr., 67, of Waikoloa died Oct. 29 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was a golf professional at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and Waikoloa Beach Golf Course and member of PGA of America. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 14) at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea. Celebration of life at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Raynette Leinaala Kahawaiolaa, 72, of Keaukaha died Oct. 19 in Las Vegas. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired receptionist for HELCO Engineering Department, member of Keaukaha Community Association, several Kamana Senior Center classes and clubs, Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Ikenobo Ikebana, and breast-cancer survivor. Benigno Tomas “Apo Benigno” Dela Cruz, 101, of Ahualoa died Oct. 31 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a Kamehameha Schools-Hawaii security sergeant, a retired Hawaii Police Department lieutenant, former Honolulu police officer, U.S. Army sergeant during the Vietnam War and military policeman, and member of The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Hawaii.
